A White on Dark Color scheme will be worked on right after I finish the new color scheme version of minimalist. I will hopefully put them both live the same day.

Sorry I'm late to the party (BTW, I like your avatar )...

If the purpose of this theme is to make it easier to use the tablet to view and post in the forum then:

1. Kick the font size up just a tad.

2. Include the Find all posts thanked some where.

I'm using my N800 on the forum more now (so much easier without all the ad's ). I use my thanks to mark not only a good post, but posts that I have to visit with the tablet like "click to install" or "try this site" posts when I see them browsing from my desktop.

This way if we keep a shortcut to our profile page on our Tablets, we are only 3 clicks away from those posts.

No problem all the fonts will be adjusted and I'll add a way to view post thanks.

Doh!

I found a way to go directly to my thanks page...
In the past I would save a results page as my shortcut but that page would expire eventually. In my previous post I saved the link to the search itself. After clicking on it in my post I found that the results did not expire.

... so I checked out the properties and now save it in Personal Launcher (or Personal Menu) with this command >>

...now I reach posts tagged with my thanks in just 2 clicks.

Note: The link in the above coded command will bring you to my thanked posts page. To make it go to your page simply change the last 4 digits (5631) to your member # easily found by right clicking on your name in the upper right corner of this page and selecting "properties".

Reviewing the list on Post #1 I didn't see this:

Functionality of posting from Minimalistic is very basic right now. There's no button for attaching a link, no way to italicize, no choice as to whether one's signature is included or not, etc., even after going to Preview.

Thanks for soliciting requests and working on this alternative.

I'm going to add some of the features I had removed from advanced posting option. Anything that uses an image link will be replayed with text links or wont be added. Things like the smiles and all wont be. BTW link and italicize can still be done you just have to use you bbcode to do it. Come on don't be lazy forum users do it by hand. j/k some of it will be added. If you will make a list the the things you really want from the advanced post page then I will see which ones I will include and add it to my list.

Edit: I decided to add the top tool bar in advanced posting and additional options section to advanced posting. This will give you almost all the options for advanced posting but still keep it as minimal as possible. Smiles and Post Icons will not be added.

Good job Andrew. I agree we musn't lose sight of the original goals for Minimalist : being a lightweight access mode to ItT for the tablets, especially in low-bandwidth mode.

It wouldn't do to make it as feature-complete as the standard theme if it's going to make it heavy and slow. Your compromise approach is the right one IMHO.

If you look at the options provided by the standard (Orange) theme with Quick Reply -- I think that's adequate for the Post Reply page in Minimalistic.
