In that case, seeing as all the app suggestions are stereotypical, what's the point of this thread?
I mean, I can't see any N900 application having any less utility for a woman as it would a man.

As far as the "time of month" app, I would note that there are several stages to that particular cycle and different women (and men) would be interested in different aspects. In addition to tracking menstruation, some couples are looking to optimize fertility and others (if their are any strict catholics left) infertility. If anyone does try to write this, I would suggest doing some research into various vital signs that could be tracked.

maybe it says things like you are the most beautiful of them all. or it shows a new hair do for you to try out.
I suppose that means we'd just need 2 versions of the digital onscreen ruler- one for men, the other for women. The women's version would be accurate and precise, the men's of course would be highly exaggerated.
Yes I know, some will claim they need 3 or more N900s for proper measurement.

Are you guys/gals serious about the mirror thing ? I mean, if you don't want some fancy UI for it, just an icon that says 'Mirror, Mirror' and launches, well, a mirror application, that's about 10 minutes of work + the time needed to promote it from devel to testing and extras. While I'm not a primary mirror user (would scare myself every time) if you need that sort of stuff, I can hack it up.

Okay, you convinced me, just realized there is one tiny catch. Orientation. I have not fiddled with orientation changing yet, so the 10 minute version will have fixed orientation. So, would you say it makes more sense to have a landscape mirror or a portrait mirror ?
