i believe you are the one attemting to censor viewpoints here. my whole argument is, for the last time, if you want it, load it. if you don't, don't. Which viewpoint seems more apple-esque?

maybe you'd be happier on an apple forum, where you could dictate what users can and can' do.
if you knew the guy you were talking to, you would have known better than to suggest anything so ridiculous... and ironic.

Keep the name as it is. It doesn't hurt anyone, or if it does get your priorities straight.

So you're arguing that a game which has a single goal: to get to shout bulIshit (<-wasn't that clever:) at a meeting and consequently get fired, could have a potential audience of people who lack a sense of humor?

I might not download the application if it were named differently. Though could I suggest 'Absurdly-politically-correct-and-not-funny-at-all-bingo'?

I'm not sure of the OP's motivation here - are you objecting to the fact that someone said 'bulIshit', or do you actually want a version of this app that doesn't? Because in the latter case that sounds like a problem that can be solved.

Okay, obviously my poor attempts at humor about apple forums fell flat. My apologies for that.

I think we're arguing scemantics, in many ways, but the wording being used by both sides is a little agressive. I think we all agree that the developer can name the app anything they want. I also think each user can choose whether they want to load the app or not. Can we agree on that?

Once we get past that, it's easy to see how people's religious beliefs, upbringing, etc. will influence how they respond to the app's name, and to attacks on their views on this topic.

I think an easy solution to the issue is make everything about the app identity configurable by the user. Not just change the app filename, but have a setting in the app where the user can edit the internal app description and have that propagate throughout the app.

No political correctness, easy offense mitigation, and open source spirit all in one little change.

Jeez, I'm not arguing anything, just stating a fact. You guys need to get a grip! Do you not believe in dissent? Does everyone have to think exactly what you think? Now I remember why I post so rarely in these forums, as opposed to others I frequent.

If you need profanity to have a sense of humor, I feel sorry for you.

And with that, I'll go back to my humorless, pointless life without profanity(except in this thread), and enjoy every minute of it!
