The N900's hardware is significantly better from what I've read. And the software is supposedly better as well. I'm not exactly sure what the major differences in Maemo 5 and Maemo 4 are tho.

that might be true..but i'm not a geek neither wll be
however affection towards this phone increasing day by day..
i can watch live tv with 3g connection...can listen live radios..can store whatever i want, make phone calls; send n receive emails; since i got it back i've not touch my laptop at all..
i think normal ppl like me enjoys this phone even more!!

- smaller screen (4 inch to 3.5)
- no more USB host =(
- no SDHC slots =( (can't use my 16 GB SDHC cards I have in my n800 right now).
Software side the OS is better for finger usage and it's alot faster. But at the same time due to changes from Maemo 4 to Maemo 5 alot of things have to be retooled.
