Back to the original question:
There are thousands and thousands of flash apps all over the web.
many or even most of the iPhone apps have been programmed to deal with the restrictions of the iPhone browser.
And apple made this restriction to earn much money with the appstore.

long live nokia as well. i go for the best phone at the time mind. tried the 3gs for a week(not enough diff from my 3g- to warrant it)- tried the hd2 - winmo puke. n900 i still like and to be honest none of the other phones gave me as much hassle- but also not as much joy

is it illegal to jailbreak your iphone- surley not.
what you do with it after its jailbroken could be illegal- but if you own something you can do what you want to it.

Was this possible, I would've already fixed at least 10 bugs over a weekend.
If the N900 was open, they'd communicate with us openly in official capacity, not some maemo talk forum that is community based. I talk about Nokia leaving us in the dark.
