ok, been running v1 since this morning. Its crashed/frozen my n900 twice and repeatable goes offline. The inbuilt browser to me, where not perfect, is alot better.

Just need opera to do one now.

Got that right, get some Opera action on this and life could be quite peachy.

By "better" do you mean faster, or something else? You mention html5, but besides that i'm curious what the criterion is.

Ideally we'd have microb with the current fennec engine. Let's see if nokia updates.
If it's truly better, then yes please.

Classic example of arbitrary Nokia decision making. Couldn't just fallback to the no brainer of tagging with lat/lon if network isn't accessible, could you Nokia?

can u always read what is written on web pages? sometimes fonts are incredibly small. i tried to go to about:config and set minimum font size, but when I highlight the right line, hit enter and press a numer nothing happens.
double tapping to zoom does not help cuse when lines are very long fonr size keeps staying very small.

Any way to get Flash content to work in the browser? There is a Youtube add-on, but nothing for Flash games or vids.

Kind of weak without Flash function.

UPDATE: Nevermind. Should have read the thread better

Just use MicroB for now. Firefox just isn't ready yet, release or no release. The problem you mentioned is a good point: there absolutely needs to be independent zooming to desired zoom level and just not double tap to zoom in and double tap to zoom out.

The N900 was advertised as having a fast cpu, and now they drop Flash support from FF because of performance issues. Ironically, this more or less justifies Apple's decision to leave flash out of their mobile devices. I doubt the issue is completely with Mozilla - Flash is just so resource hungry it probably doesn't make sense on most mobile devices now... Unfortunately FF is much slower without flash than MicroB is with flash, so... back to the drawing board, guys.

If using Flash slow down the process, then why is MicroB running so smooth?? This is inexcusable. And MicroB comes from the very people that create Firefox, am i right?? So Firefox present a BiG FAILURE on the development side.

I was as everyone is excited about the release of Firefox before the release of N900. After using MicroB, you would think that you're getting a better and FASTER version...instead you got a shytty slow unresponsive version that makes no sense to release it. In my opinion the developers screwed up the plan and have no wait of turning back except moving forward with the release anyway.
