Agree.
At least to me it would be hard to imagine Nokia leaving non TS smartphones behind and left them where they are now, but lets see what really happens.

heres a nice page answering lots of questions about Symbian going open source, Platform Opening/FAQ
this got moved from off topic where i made it without thinking into competitors which is for devices, should it of gone into Alternatives in the OS/platform forum?

Alternatives is about alternative operating systems for Maemo devices. Competitors are about products that compete against Maemo.

competitors is about devices with other OS which is why it at bottom of devices forum.
this is not about a device its about OS only
