It works connecting using win7 laptop on internal network using vnc viewer (typing this reply from my laptop vnc'ing to my pc).
to connect to pc i type the internal ip address and it prompted for username and password and hey presto, win7 logon appeared.
So why doesn't this work via n900??

ok encryption was set to always on but it's on prefer on now. what's the difference, out of curiosity?
