The Stock PDF and Evince cant do this and its a shame, the writing is so small can read it unless we strain our eyes
Not on Maemo but Acrobat Reader has such an option on Win. However it doesn't always work. My solution to that problem is first convert pdf to txt (from within Easy Debian using pdftotxt) and then use FBreader to read the text. Hah no pictures unfortunately, work good only clean typed pdf files.

The PDF reader with N900 is great. It just lack the ability to remember which page you are on for the documents, this is very inconvenient.

Yes, very annoying! I have to rename my PDF file and stick a P34 (P for page) to remember what page I was on, or just leave PDF Reader open in the background when I want to do something else.

Is there a pdf reader that does line wrapping? When I zoom in on text, because the font is too small for example, I have to slide the document back and forth from side to side. I'd rather the line be wrapped instead so I can continuously scroll down as I read.

Or, another possibilty... Is there a pdf to html converter? Zooming or moving around a html document using a browser like Opera is quite good.

pdf readers don't wrap - because pdf's are basically just images.

e-book readers wrap.

I am surprised what funny ideas users and programmers have and realize.
Like word-wrap for PDF documents. A PDF was word-wrapped by the creator of the doc, and saved as PDF to keep this exact layout.

PDF is a format to conserve the look of a designed document, completely, inclusive fonts, width of text fields, all graphics and so on. What do those "PDF readers" of Android or iOS do when you feed them a complex poster, advertisment or whatever?
PDF was never meant to be for reading long texts on computer screens, leave alone smartphone screens. Some other formats are much better for this, the best is HTML which was designed for onscreen reading from the beginning.

Just my opinion...

I disagree.. PDF on Nokia n900 is great for reading long texts. Personal taste I suppose.
I also think line wrapping is not necessay. if you cannot read a PDF document on 100 percent on the Nokia N900, you either need to use your glasses or curse the idiot who created the PDF with an abnormally small font.
All PDF that is readable on a computer screen is also readable on normal 100 percent zoom on N900 standard pdf reader.
