The minimalist theme isn't the answer to my prayers on this subject either:
I think the N900 stands somewhat "anti-mobileoptimized sites". So its ironic that maemo.org should be a site that doesn't sit well onto the N900 screen....

- I also noticed that this method no longer works in leaked fw.
However, I not have greasemonkey installed and setup with MicroB and it works perfectly to make MicroB's virtual width larger for TMO and a few other sites I need. (so instead of 800 pixels wide, MicroB shows TMO at 1050pixels wide which means I have to scroll sideways also but at least TMO looks identical to my PC now)
