Okay, I had that problem too, this is how I did it :

- delete that "bora" repo you just added,

- add the old "mistral" repo, like this :
* from AppManager
o Add this entry into "new catalogue":
+ web address: http://home.ufam.edu.br/~agan/minimo/
+ Distribution: mistral/
+ Components: n/a
o "Refresh list"
o Go to "Install new applications"
+ pick minimo up.

This will install an old version of minimo but also the needed libraries.

- now delete the "mistral" repo :-)
- now recreate the "bora" repo :-)

- refresh list, you should see the latest (0.16.12) version for update and this time it should work...

PS: yes, this repo stuff is a real mess :-)

I was about to state that .16.11 was the most recent version, but it appears that only a few days after .11 was released, .12 followed. Any news on what this version adds/fixes? Still no announcement up on Tonikitoo's Page. Seems to work fine on my N800. With .11 and .12, I feel that Minimo has finally surpassed Opera as best browser.

.12 seems to always crash whenever I click Save in the preferences (this didn't happen to me in .11) and I then have to reboot the N800 before Minimo will work again. This latter reboot problem should be fixed ASAP as it makes testing really difficult (I've given up for now).

Changelog in 0.16.12-1:
  • Made 'scroll by arrow keys' default instead of spatial navigation (toggling still possible through menu).
  • Added 'Launch in fullscreen mode' checkbutton in general-panel/preferences.
  • Set minimo default zoom level to 1.1.
  • Removed 'Set minimo as default browser' and "dump js at shutdown" checkbuttons from preferences - WinCE specific implementation.

<nag mode on>Sounds like the latest versions are more difficult to install, but definitely more stable, on the 770 than on the N800 :-)<nag mode off>

still investigating ... strange ... I did not crash on preferences tab at all with .12 ...

milhouse and idomcfly , did you upgrade it from .11 ?

If so, It might be some incomparability, but not sure.

could you try

$ cd ~
$ mv .mozilla/minimo ./mozilla/minimo-bak

<run minimo again and check it it still crashes on preferences> ???

thanks

+1 on the crash when trying to save a downloaded file.
