I have never met a user so disagreeable. Did you even take the time to read your post before submitting it?
As an addendum and only partially related to the problems of the OP: Vista was a mistake Microsoft tried to correct by releasing 7 as fast as they could. I used Vista for only a couple of months, and would like to forget about it. I do not know whether Vista has the following option or not, but in Windows 7, you can right click on any program's icon and select Troubleshoot Compatibility from the menu that comes up to ensure that Windows 7 runs it as a different version of Windows would. As the version it was designed for would. If you use that, the Nokia Suite works very well indeed under Windows 7. I installed it that way, I do not know whether more recent versions even require this to be done.
Instead of the inflammatory title you chose for your thread, I suggest renaming it to something more accurate, like: "Help! New user trying to find out how to use this device properly!"
Previous posts proved YOUR problems lie with the user and not with the device. I hope you acknowledge that fact by removing your unmerited complaints from this forum, because titles like the one you chose for your post can be discouraging.

I am totally impressed that this thread managed to get to five pages. Shows how committed the community is to helping, even in the face of adversity.

I am totally committed to destroying companies who sell me rubbish-ware. And have the resources to do so.

Running MSCONFIG I find that it has installed "Nokia M Platform" under startup and Nokia service layer under services. - even though it no longer displays an icon on the taskbar.
