Im seing lots of 1.2 complaint threads but this is just mad,

Last night i flashed 1.2 with flasher 3.5 and did the vanilla eMMC flash too, and today i decided on what i wanted to test out,

I had left the device on wifi the whole day, browsed like a crazy fool and even did a good session of angry birds mid day,

Im running with my standard ons and offs to improve battery life, although im doubting ill need them anymore,

Atm i have off,
3G (2.5g is on most the time though)
Location Settings Off
Brightness changing from 1-3

But yeah, anyone else finding there having great battery life after that?

Hope its not just me, but im very happy now .

1.2 is draining my battery waaaaay faster than lehto's 800 mhz kernel (and is a lot slower too )

Glad to hear so many of you are getting a much better battery life.

Mine's been idle today, and I've had to charge it twice already. It runs out in about 4 - 5 hours ><

But I'm so tired of reinstalling my apps and changing settings all the time!
So.. I'll just carry around my laptop with me to charge it with. Problem solved?

Have you overclocked your phone? (if not try it!)
Are you using wifi switcher? (if not, try it!)
Look at the CPU, is it being drained by something?
Is the LCD backlight being switched off after the configured timeout like it should?
Is your battery in good shape?

it doesn't matter, accuracy of voltage measurement could easily mean at least +-5%

Sorry next time i'll tell fags to do one in the title should i?

Anyway progress update, i know 1.2 has been out for a bit now but im on my third day with average phone usage with the battery sat on 50% so i'm very happy, i've been doing alot of music listening here and there, occasional browsing and a fairly high amount of text/calling, so far the batterys holding up greatly, and im fairly certain this is down to 1.2, i have the stock widgets still on, so 3/4 desktops full i think,

So far i've encountered 1 problem, and thats text input in input fields on the browser can occasionally go a bit slack, but other then that, constant maemo performance and constant maemo lovage .

Awesome update

It seems that people are getting 70-100 hours standby times, I cant get anymore than 40-50 hours.

Installed apps: 3g/2g selector, batterygraph, flashlight, rootsh and wifi switcher, no widgets. Phone is set to 2g, no data, no bluetooth, wlan off and gps off. CPU seems to run at 5 % load all the time.

Any tricks to try?
