you get nothing more after typing ls? That command displays the contents of the folder so if you get no output, the folder is empty. You must have downloaded the files elsewhere.

Thanks, Jay. I have it, I used it, I like it. I am wishing for one feature to be added: the optional splash screen. However, it looks more hackerish with a kernel rundown :P.[Added] ooh and also to be able to create/edit/delete menu items from the bootloader. Or have a console line to be able to manually type the flash type + partition # + boot options (might be useful when trying to guess the partition number) and boot into it.

Type in:

Code:
sudo gainroot
apt-get install kexec-tools
After that it should work
That leads to:

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Package kexec-tools is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package kexec-tools has no installation candidate

Will it be installed with the power kernel from the app manager (since I removed those files earlier)?
It's probably in http://repository.maemo.org/extras-devel/

Is the multiboot suppose to default to maemo if you dont have other OS' installed yet? Mine is stuck at the multiboot menu counts down and shuts off before the countdown with no selections available. Any help?
