I don't think, that the cause is a broken USB port. The error came up after uninstalling conky and didn't go away with reflashing the device, right? So I guess it's a filesystem error caused by corrupted flash memory.

not experienced this directly (but several other results of fatal researching) one where reflash wouldnt work. I was kindly directed to try a "cold reflash". It worked for me but isnt all that simple. Look it up and ensure your sure of every step before you start. And let us know...fingers crossed

haha AFTER NO LESS THAN 82 FLASHES HE SHOULD HAVE TRIED THAT ALREADY !!!.

Why are you being rude? Did you even read my post? 82 flashes in my whole device's timeline, 3 only right now,

Here is a solution i found on here ok...

What finally worked for me was to remove the (charged) battery, connect to PC, start flasher program in cold-flash mode (-c -h RX-51:2201 (or possibly 2101) -S usb -F <fiasco image> -f -R) and then plug in the battery. There's an exceedingly short moment where the flasher can detect the N900 and do its cold-flash thing.

Provided by TA-t3 on "Pr1.1 Has bricked my N900" give it a try ok.
