So effing clear too awsome job man really.

One thing tho for everyones peice of mind it doesn't work in MSN well at least for me it doesnt, when i go to settings in msn for video it looks fine, but when i make a video call its all blury cant see anything. msn problem i would say

Odd. Could try running it through another "fake webcam" program, thats what I have to do for it to work with flash. I use Webcam Max, then use the Smartcam webcam as source. Seems to fix most problems when it doesnt work by itself.

I installed it without xTerminal.
Its is installed, but i cant see it in the app menu....
how do i run it? when I used the this:
sudo gainroot
wget http://www.azkay.com/smartcam-m5.tar.gz
tar xzvf smartcam-m5.tar.gz
cd smartcam-m5
./smartcam-m5-install.sh
it didnt work...

"ls" to the places inside the .sh, see if the files it copied exist.

"ls" is the folder listing command in a terminal. So open up the x-terminal and do "ls -al /etc/smartcam-m5" , see if smartcam-m5.exe is present.

Then "ls" the following: /usr/share/applications/hildon - looking for smartcam-m5.desktop
/opt/usr/share/icons/hicolor/32x32/apps - ditto smartcam-m5.png
/etc/smartcam-m5 - ditto smartcam-m5.conf

Problem, when i wanna instal libmono2.0-cil sais n900 that i need libmono-system2.0-cil. how do I a forced install?

Install "libmono-system2.0-cil_2.4.3-1_all.deb" first then "libmono2.0-cil", so as root:

Code:
dpkg -i libmono-system2.0-cil_2.4.3-1_all.deb libmono2.0-cilxxxxx(whatever).deb
