At present I believe that feature is only implemented on the windows client. The linux client doesn't have it either - its not just the N800.

Is there anything to do to have Skype logging in whenever you are networked? Or is it as simple as checking "login in automatically when skype starts"? Is that supposed to let the program check for network connection every x minutes?
I probably set it to 'log in automatically when skype starts', as that's how I usually set it when I start Skype on a previously unused computer. Then I make sure that Skype is connected (i.e. I'm marked as online). When I go offline Skype goes offline, and when I get online again Skype goes online.

I don't know if it polls or what, but I just now did a test and the moment I disconnected the network Skype went into offline mode, and when I reconnected it immediately put me online again. So far I haven't seen any battery penalty for this, so it may be that it's been implemented with proper dbus support. (If it checked every second then there would be a huge battery drain over night afaik)

I did that Milhouse, online it has the correct currency (£).

On the N800 it shows the correct balance for my currency but shows the euro. As I say the balance value is the same in both locations.

Wierd... it worked for me - my N800 was showing Euro but now shows £ after I changed it at skype.com... I suppose Skype support would be the next option? Will be interesting to see how they respond to N800 queries.

This is driving me crazy. It can't be that it isn't there...
Besides "right clicking" (holding down the stylus) on an event and selecting "Delete," is there any way to clear all events on Skype on the N800? Even better, not logging the events?

Hehe! I called you like 10 times last week... well I -tried- to.
I prolly made about 100 calls overall and no one ever picks up anyway, so while its neat to have SKYPE, GIZMO and alla that good stuff, it makes little sense when theres no one to call, or no one to call you

I've not had a single issue with Skype on my N800.
Talked to a friend of mine over it using SkypeOut for about 2 hours and the quality was pretty damn good.
