So in the end all you will have is a nice-looking but somewhat under-powered Android phone. Seems like a lot of trouble for little reward.
Not to mention ICS will be painfully slow on N9's really outdated hardware. ICS is made with a dual core CPU in mind where as Meego was made for a single core CPU that too was released in early 2010.

Does the latest firmware update offer any SIGNIFICATE improvement in camera?
