Nope, it's 12MP, but Camera application allows to take photos with at most 8MP. In fact 8MP size is not supported by camera driver, so the photos are 5MP resized to 7/8MP.

Yes I'm aware of that issue.....
I vaguely recall some N950 owners claiming they've had worse WiFi reception than their N9's, but I can't be sure of that.
I suspect it's more a universal issue that can be rectified on both, to the point where the differences will be negligible.

You can't just say the N9 is better.. because it isn't. For me and my usage the n950 is far more superior. And that is true for many.
And if you've been reading I haven't been saying it's as simple as that.
If the OP wants a simple answer yes/no answer he's not going to get one.

Yep there would've been at least one more shipping* (or very close), & another on the way

Can say i haven't had any problems with GSM... it got better reception than other phones i compared with (i.e. i got reception/ my neightbour don't). Have not compared with my n900 though. So i might have been lucky with my device but it is not bad for me. And for me the metal body feels quality not dead. The four row keyboard is definatly better than the n900. A bit harder to slide out but better to write with.
