So this is what Oleg(romaxa) was talking about ages back when I was lamenting the slow death of XUL, thanks to Mozilla's switch to native Android UI.
But he was saying the UI would use Gecko.... this seems to be WebKit only....

Pretty damn featureful 3rd-party web browser for WP7x :-/

Hopefully Snowshoe will blow it out of the water eventually.

thanks for the work... any method to allow vkb input in text fields...

that would allow this to replace the stock browser till a beta is launched...

i'm currently running v0.2.1. it has a vkb but it only enters text on one dialog box in each webpage i.e. if entering username and password you cant enter anything except for in the username field.

work looks promising as it gives a full desktop experience. looking forward to more development on this so that its a feasible alternative to the stock browser. also hoping the devs for this drop by here sometime and share their progress.

Are we ever going to get at least SOME feedback from the devs on this?
Anyone know what the latest is, when's the 1st major stable release coming?
And will it blow the stock browser & Fennec/Opera_12 out of the water?

TY.

*EDIT*
I've PM'd Luciano Wolf (pg 4) asking that he post a status/progress update here.

Hi! We've had some regressions on Qt5/WebKit2 thus those erratic behavior when panning/moving webpages. Right now we are working on the webkit front (so no updates to the browser or new versions at least by the end of this month). I can't give you any precise estimates at the moment but the project itself is still alive (with all INdT developers allocated temporarily on webkit related tasks).

Thanks very much for the update mate, it is really appreciated!

If at all possible, it'd be great if you could let us know what the latest is 1-2/month?
Is there a rough timeline for when you hope to have the 1st beta release available?

Also with all the amazing info. about Jolla coming out lately...
Seems like a natural fit that you guys would be at least partially collaborating with them

Thanks again.
