Hello, first thank you for the whatsapp for n900.

My problem is that running whatsapp tells me that there is an error to access the contact list. I agree, and then ask me for the "CCnumberphone", "IMEI" and method "SMS, Voice, login recovery". I tried everything but always "unknow error ...". I followed the steps faithfully and whatsapp called me giving me the code but i not know where put it. I checked the file prefs.xml, having wifi ... but I get nothing.

Indeed, quite frustrated I deleted the folder "/ home / user / .java" unconsciously. What I can do now?

PD: My repository is extra-devel and some more. I have installed libqtm-11 now.

I answer myself ... after using

find /home/user/.java -name "prefs*"

I think the configuration file that is not in
/home/user/.java/.userPref...whatsapp/prefs.xml
else
/home/user/.java/.userPref...whatsapp/storage/prefs.xml

after editing the correct file to enter the whatsapp and just asks the verification code you got to call and the phone number, IMEI and method.

The problem is still unable to access the contact list and asked me to add contacts one by one (All appear with a red square but my number on a green square) and I also believe that if I write someone does not send the message and if I turn off and turn on these messages (I tried to send) are deleted.

Thanks for your tutorial! I used it and it still worked perfectly! I wrote an own tutorial, which is more yappari (another WhatsApp-Client) specific and used your information and links. It is probably a little bit more detailed. I hope you are ok with using your information. Heres the link

idk if this will help u but i had the same problem and i googled "how to install deb files on a n900" and i found a tutorial..

so all you need is roosth and after that u enter sudo gainroot..after that enter cd MyDocs press enter and then insert ls(LS but in small letters) it will show you the files in the root dir now perfom the dpkg combat and it will work
