Put basically the proposed Swappolube settings make your swap less aggressive an stops the drive righting as much to the slower part of your memory.

Your issue could be swap fragmentation, does a reboot fix it?

Also if you have a slow moment hit Ctrl, Shift + X then when a terminal appears type "top" the top process is using the most CPU.

Thanks for the shortcut advice, I will try that as well when it freezes up on me...

A reboot does fix it when I have the problems of the applications closing right after being opened and when it gets laggy. Also when it's idling through the night, it takes a little bit of time to make the screen go on in the morning... Same with when somebody is calling me and the unit has been idle for a while it can freeze up and I will have missed the call.

I've been having this annoying problem with not being able to answer calls as the system lags when trying to display the person calling, etc... It leeds to missed calls as it could take 10-15 seconds for it to show the answer button on the screen. Isn't there an instant way to answer with a real button instead of the screen? Is there a fix for this problem? It ussualy occurs when the screen is in the off mode...

Other problems include: bad call quality, and calls being dropped, all even when I have 3-5 bars of service in 2-3.5G even...
