ok, re-installed 1st wget and re-did dpkg -i on it, works alright, LED within Settings app, tried some missed call and it works nicely...

This may seem trivial but can we get the color of the button changed to what the rest of the system is?
It's not green it's that turquoise color.

You can change it on your own .
Open stylesheet: /opt/ledapplet/styles/ledapplet.css
and remove "color2-" from the line
on the bottom of the file.Code:slider-image-selected: "color2-meegotouch-switch-on-inverted" 32px 32px 20px 20px;
