okay, so i had problems downloading the dependencies (Qt5) so i flashed my phone and installed everything from scratch. worked for me
previously i was on openmode (nitdroid)
now meego only.

open mode or not make 0 difference ( i use open mode)... If those instructions i posted in the snowshoe thread (link posted in the previous page) are followed, you will surely get it working...

Heck, i have zipped not only snowshoe but the dependencies too in my post for people who cant get it working using conventional methods...

This app and qt5 ruined my phone that i coulld not fully install or uninstall at all...and i have to refllash complet my phone to get read of it!

You don't need to flash for such a thing! You could have posted and someone would have guided you on how to get it completely purged...

In terminal as root:

apt-get purge snowshoe-mobile
apt-get purge qt5-*
apt-get autoremove

reboot...


Oh and the reason you had a royal mess up was due to having Rzr's repo enabled at the same time which also has qt5 packages hence leading to conflicts...

Yeah sh.happens...now my phone is clean...i shoulld have seek for help in this forum...but i was nervous a bit.
