WoW, that looks absolutely epic. Yesterday I bought a outdoor kitchen with blender but I might need a new electric car to keep up with you.

How do you charge it? With regular socket? Or some kind of super charger?

How is the sound?

Well Dave...electric car would be fine...but you would need something like this bike to go off road too...

Oh it has a charger....plugs into a regular outlet...don't need anything fancy...

It makes none...all I hear is the tires on the road and trail....

Here in Canada it is a Motorino and Super Soco collaboration...
Elsewhere I believe it just goes under the Super Soco Brand...

I use a real bike when going off road, a Mtb. Don't want an engine for that.

The sound is the second thing people notice. The first is what happen when you press the pedal to the metal

When I think of it. I have not seen any electric road bikes on the road while we have plenty of cars. Let's hope for a bike boom too. Electric cars and bicycles are everywhere.

Motorino is a Vancouver company...Shops everywhere out here service them..
I know people with Motorino scooters and e bikes that are decades old...
never a problem getting parts or service to fix them..
Built like tanks too...damn durable...

So I know there won't be a problem with parts years to come...
and since the battery banks are "owner replaceable " ( I can pull them out myself..swap them out...externally charge them etc...
I am very looking forward in the next couple years trading the batts in for the next gen batts that will last even longer...
That is the only thing they could do to improve on any concept of e bike...
road laws here are that if it goes any faster "by motor" ..than 32km per hour ...then it needs insurance...etc etc...
Downhill I just let off on the throttle and coasting I've hit 70 an hour yesterday...engage the throttle downhill and it kicks in the motor which winds the speed back and delivers about 15% of the excess energy received back to the battery....not bad...I am sure that will improve too...

If I were to get their road version ...it would be great ...but impractical for the island ...and island hopping...and my work...
So yeah...
Can't wait to get longer range batteries for it...
a year or two...I am sure the range will be almost double...if not more.

It seems small because of the size of some of the riders in the videos...
Frankly it is low ...not small...It hugs the road ...
Also the riders they show....the pegs have not been set ...so that also affects the rider stance...
the pegs can be set into 3 modes...for comfortable riding...
if not set the default is the pedal setting...which is awkward to look at as much as ride...

also taller the vehicle ..more weight...more displacement...more wind drag...less mileage

Sitting beside a harley and a dirt bike...
It is about the size of the dirt bike...but low like the harley..

If you are a tall guy you would dwarf it... ...
I'm 6 foot and I sit it comfortably...
If you can bear it...Wait until the range exceeds a modern car...and the body is bigger ...then get one...

I've had plenty of bikes all my life ...
Choppers, cruisers, touring, mountain....
this is more fun.

It is madly responsive...
It's footprint is tight...
and it is insanely maneuverable as a consequence...
more so than most other motorcycles I've handled.

and though it may seem small...
It can take a passenger...
hell there is a trailer company out here that makes cargo and child trailers for it as well...

To give you an idea of how far they have come in just a couple of years...

range was less than half the 150km I get...
price was almost the same....consequently..


the year before...it was the xmb....


or as I call it the steve mcqueen special....
the range and price the same as the xmr..
But it's comfortable carry cap. is about 400lbs...

Give it another year or two ...god knows what design there will be...

The only bad thing with electric vehicles is that the development goes so tickin fast that before your peice arrives new models are already around the corner with twice the power.

It's would be nice if Mercedes, Audi and some real cars could be announce some top notch electrics cars. Tesla is such a bad car that they should allow any other brand to build the HW

Also that would speed up the development too.

I think the market will grow crazy over the next fiv years when the big elephants start kicking in doors and kicking out old tech.
