Great news, thanks for the report -- and sorry that vibrate causes problems. I'm thinking of making little microfiber cloth squares so that vibrate/acrylic won't be a problem.

MY LASER CAR!! BALTIC PERCH STAND!!

www.maemo.org == mario cuomo the orgy

Seriously, that is so completely hilarious. I laughed for almost ten minutes.

And it's also kinda scary, even with all these mistakes it is very good speech translation software.

fake: You are a legend, my home/office pack arrived this morning, and in agreement with everyone else, they are great.

Just for reference it took 10 working days to get to the UK.

My N900 looks so much happier sitting on it, so thanks for this cheap and very handy product!

I'm sure I'll get you a few more sales

Andy

PS: Please please please make a credit card sized fold-away stand for my wallet :-D and end world famine... etc

I'm working on it. Just doing all kinds of materials testing at the moment.

For a credit-card sized folding stand, would it be OK if it was somewhat less sturdy than the wood/acrylic stands?

Basically, I have two options. I can make it in two pieces that slot together at a 90 degree angle. That results in a relatively sturdy stand, but it's not as precise or perfect as the ones I'm selling.

The other option is to try to make it from some a material which is laminated to something flexible. The flexible material forms a hinge that allows the other part to fold out. This option, which is probably the best for wallets, is also the one that I'm least certain about in terms of typing stability.

I guess the real question here is -- for an on-the-go stand, would you mostly be using it for typing or for having the phone upright while you do other things?

For me: Definitely the latter.
