In my custom version there are now 2 modes of operation: auto mode and fixed mode.

Auto mode is activated touching the temperature area of the widget. In this mode profile1 is activated and the max clock frequency is function of the temperature as coded in overclock file. If the phone is locked the underclock file is executed setting a lower max frequency. When the phone is unlocked the auto mode is reactivated.

Fixed mode can be activated touching the STOCK or IDEAL areas of the widget. In this mode the min and max clock frequencies are fixed and set by the profiles associated with STOCK and IDEAL. There is no change in clock frequency with temperature or with the locking unlocking of the phone.

Note that all credits for this widget belong to his creator - techie.

If anyone wants this custom version please ask techie and if he agrees i can send him the code for posting.
i finally did it !

same as sacal plus display battery level

all credits goes to techie for his widget and sacal who inspired me to change operation mode

If anyone wants this custom version please ask techie and if he agrees i can send him the code for posting.

@gft2k1
I have already done this since it seems that many people want it to behave this way.I have not yet uploaded due to some testing still going on.

i know techie, i read your post and sorry if i modified your script without your permission.........

i have reduced if-then-else statements to minimum and tested.

All seems to work........

I changed temperature profile from "ideal" to "starving" (but you can use "lv","ulv" or "xlv" as well) simply beacause ideal profile have minimum clock set to 500.

On desktop you see 250Mhz-1000Mhz (according to overclock file) but if you use conky you see 500-1000.

Thanks again techie and go on in this way !

No not at all, you all are welcome to modify and pass on some suggestions or ideas to me too along the way
Changing the profiles to your liking was actually a 'feature' that I mentioned in the original post as well. That's why the extra trouble to pass them as variables so to make user-friendly.

On desktop you see 250Mhz-1000Mhz (according to overclock file) but if you use conky you see 500-1000.
I don't think that's supposed to happen

Guys,
Overclock Control Panel has been stuck into the WIKI

Also feel free to maintain the WIKI at your will. (and bear with me if, at times, you find some cosmetic changes to your amendments due to homogenization of contents format)

Further, is you believe that the OCP Beecon requires some more evolution I suggest it deserves its own thread and we'll keep this QBW thread for less specific general issues, requests for help, bug reports and so on.

Ciao.
