No, they're not. Currently, users can have 100MB per day for free, this is ending in October.

It's not like blyk. It's not ad supported.

Now VF say we have to PROOF to them that our bills will go over by 10%.

So what does PROOF actually mean then?

WiFi is always Unlimited! I dont know why they put a limit on WiFi. WiFi is just your ordinary wireless broadband connection!

These limits are for things like Openzone and The Cloud etc.

Proof = just calculate your bill, add the extra charge that they want you to pay, and if it's 10% or if it exceeds 10%, then BINGO, you're off! This applies to me too, so I'm currently doing the happy dance!

UPDATE:

I got the following email fron the Directors Office

Dear *******

Thank you for your e-mail requesting the cancellation of your account.

If you think that out of bundle charging will increase your total bill by 10% or more compared to the same usage in the previous month, you may be entitled to cancel your account without penalty.

You will not be able to request to terminate unless you have received one of these text messages from us:

From Vodafone: To let you know you’re nearly at the end of your monthly data allowance of 500MB. If you need to use additional data there will be a charge of £5 incVAT per 500MB , however we won’t start charging until 1 October 2010. To stop these alerts, text STOP to 40506

From Vodafone: To let you know you’re nearly at the end of your monthly data allowance of 1GB. If you need to use additional data there will be a charge of £5 incVAT per 500MB , however we won’t start charging until 1 October 2010. To stop these alerts, text STOP to 40506.

If after receiving this text you wish to cancel, you will need to send us written notification that you intend to terminate your contract and proof of why you think your bill will be increased by more than 10%. This must be sent to us in writing before the charges are introduced. Please send your written notice to: Vodafone UK Ltd., Vodafone House, The Connection, Newbury, RG14 2FN.

Once received, we'll assess your request and let you know if it's possible to cancel or not.

Kind regards

So today they are getting a second letter by special delivery, with my [ast 3 months bills (even though they say only one is needed)
and a copy of the text saying I will get charged £5 next month if I go over again, and "whoops" I ignored the text and downloaded another 400Mb afterwards so they will definately be adding the £5 on the 1st

According to the email above they will then accept the cancellation without penalty.?

Im at the 400MB usage right now in a couple of days im sure il have hit well over 500MB. In the mean time i think il start preparing a letter to cancel my contract without ETF.
