It seems to me that you are trying to download videos that have restricted access. Some videos cannot be accessed via the API, because the uploader sets restrictions on syndication. You can view the details, but you cannot play or download these videos, as the URL is not returned as part of the API response. I will either add some code to alert users when this is the case, or omit these videos from the results.
I don't know I'm not a developer. And just to add to know, I have one playlist and it was in there about 100 vids and I downloaded some of them and know I have 60 but QML says no videos. One thing what confuses me is that QML in playlist selection screen show that I have 60 videos in pl but when I open it there are nothing and cutetube show them all but download failed on almost every video. I'm not sure what you mean regarding xtube. I think you have invented a couple of features there.
Clicking the thumbnail should play the video, but neither clicking the title or long pressing the item will have any effect (I've removed the long-press dialog for now).I take it you're referring to xtube regarding the multiple downloads. This is a known problem.

About the xtube -problems:
Didn't know you removed the long press-feature.
But the other problem was that I can't access to the "detals" window of the videos where I can choose if I want to download or play the video. Now only way to download video is to use the "multi select" method which only works for single videos :P

I would very much like to add Italian to the list of supported languages. Have you ever used Qt Linguist? If not, it is quite easy to use. All you need to do is open a file and fill in each of the blanks with the Italian translation, then save the file and I will include it in the next release.

Wow, the homescreen widget looks sweet!!
And yes the x-tube video info window does not work. Also, the tab pressing doesnt work in youtube vids, only swipe left/right works.
