There, I just wrote an email to Nokia, explaining that I want compensation for the difference i price between when I bought the N900 and when it (with pr1.2 or any other way) will fulfill the the attributes and functions that Nokia claims that the N900 can handle. Otherwise I will take this to the consumer's agencey! I also told them that I am going to suggest to other N900 owners to demand the same thing.

They have pushed us to the edge of war! We have no choise but to give it to them.

Any notification to them will do, as long as they see how many has had enough!

what specific functions did nokia promise? and did they promise it could HANDLE they functions or HAD they functions already? did you sue sony for selling you an hdtv that didn't pick up a hd signal out of the box?

i dont see much compo flying out no matter how many of us complain, sorry!

The question is: if PR1.2 takes this long, how much it takes to have official MeeGo on our N900?

So a phone that you can't use call any other number than 911 if you have a prepaid SIM card? But they didn't didn't mention that, except in the alledged update that is said to be released any day now and have for the last 3 months? You don't think that is of intrest to the consumer's agency? If the Sony HDTV didn't pick up tv signals what so ever then? Becasue that is what is equivalent to this... BASIC functions!

So even if you don't demand compensation, a notification to them would be an action with consequenses in the right direction... Since I'm convinced that they care if people buy nokia products in the future or not.

Don't discourage this! Don't you want the pr1.2? If you do want it, at least don't just sit around waiting for it like a passive b*tch...
