It will have multi-slide keyboard, with different layouts/keys revealed as you slide it in different directions.
Do you think this multi-slide keyboard with varying layouts has anything to do with the odd keyboard map that was spotted for the RX-71?

Thanks! And I'm glad to see you got your new avatar showing us all what a Qole is.

I suspect you're correct that Eldar Murtazin saw an RX-51 prototype, because there's no way there could be a prototype of the Sparrow device yet. His description of a small keyboard and a dual slider makes me think of the Samsung F520, which could also explain the 18-key secondary keymap.

Just imagine a device where you slide it one way for a Maemo computer and the other way for a phone. I'd buy one of those, even if it had diamond shaped keys.

Regards,
Roger

Hm, I suspect a few people would be disappointed if the DPad was placed as on the Samsung...

Can you elaborate a bit, and write in full sentences? I'm sure in your head you know exactly what you mean, but at least for me it's not coming across.

Mr. Wagner is attempting to link this chart inline. It shows that in this down market, Nokia's dominance of the so-called smartphone market has fallen from 23.4% to 20.3% above its closest competitor.

I don't care about smartphones. This isn't a forum about smartphones. The current NITs have very little to do with the phones with the tiny screens and some limited abilities to schedule appointments, check e-mail and browse the net.

frank.wagner: Your impatience is not Nokia's problem. If you could find something else that satisfied you, you wouldn't keep posting here. The new device is coming, probably this summer. Nokia doesn't tend to announce a long time in advance like other companies do.

In fact, they do. Some of their phones were announced with a release date of 6-9 months in the future. (although this may also depend on the region... I remember models being sold in Russia and the far east looong before they were available in central Europe.)

It's funny that usually with the tablets they start selling a short time after the official announcement.
