Not sure if this is the right place to discuss this -
When I deactivate an account (e.g. a google account) and turn it back on the Schedule settings for it are changed. E.g. I have set it to "stay up to date" for peak and off peak times however after de activating it and re activating it the off peak schedule is set to "off". Peak is unaffected.

Hi all, like a promised an Alpha version of the app that can allow you to set your MfE/Email account settings to some officially unsupported values is ready. It is quite dummy application made during the evenings etc.
So, the source code is available here:

Unfortunately I only use google accounts. I have tried it with all three and the bug is reproducible.
each time you turn the account back on the schedule has changed for off peak updating.
It's worse - it's asking for passwords on ALL the accounts - CalDav, Nokia account, all the email accounts, all the CalDav accounts, Skype, and the MfE account. As soon as you enter all these, it asks for them all over again. Something is seriously screwed up here.

Great, thank you for going the extra mile on this!
Please post this also as a separate topic, it's otherwise too buried inside this epic thread.

I really don't mean this in a bad way at all but, I think you guys can learn a great deal by just trying out the Windows Phone 7 email client as your main mail client for a few days. It is miles better than the N9/N900/Symbian client in nearly every way possible. (I own and owned SGS2, Omnia 7, N900, N9, iPhone4, N8 etc and so I'm basing this on my experience after I've used them all as my main daily email client for work)
WP7 client highlights: (Symbian client can do most of these also but just with different UI)
5. It has support for out of office automatic replies. (setting/clearing)
6. But the biggest annoyance for me so far on the N9 client is when composing a new email and filling out the recipients. WP7 phone's email client suggests all the addresses that I've typed before or is in my phone contacts intelligently as I type the name. (exactly like how the PC outlook client does) Also, I can type just a few characters and let it auto-search my global address list (or entire gmail inbox if not MfE) to find that person's email address. Right now with N9's email client, I need to type everyone's email address to its fullest it seems. I can't even search for the recipients from GAL. If this can be done right now, please let me know as I must be blind....7.

I really hope that aegis will give you permissions to remove hose folders.
Actually, before deletion of the QMF db you can copy it on your PC and check the DB version etc. It could be a useful info to detect what is happened on your device (maybe it is a bug and might happen with other users as well?). Copy /home/user/.qmf/database/ directory on your PC. Open the DB (I'm using an sqlitebrowser) and check the QMF db table "versioninfo". One of the latest records should contain "mailthreads" with versionNumber "102". Also take a look at "mailthreads" table. It should contain 11 columns. Ohh, and if you don't mind I'd like to take a look on it too
Everyday is a nice day
Don't know how to sync your Hotmail account as an Exchange account with your Nokia N9? Use MeMailSettings! For help you can check out MeMailSetting's support page.
