I am now on 930Mhz/500dsp ... after using 900mHz variant I have a feeling that this 930 underscales a bit worse ... 900 was on 125 most of the unused time, 930 is scaling up in the same situation ...

I'm talking about big files like a several GB zip file that you transfer to and from the N900 and then decompress it to check if there was any corruption.

I'm interested to see if anyone has less frame drops etc recording a video clip... preferably a panning shot or two

you should see nfs 3 on psx4all @ 125 - 930mhz , 500mhz DSP !!!!!!
