Have you been able to use QSpot successfully with wifi before, or has the problem appeared with the new version? There should be no difference at all between connecting using wifi or 3G (no special handling in application). Could it be some e.g., firewall issue?

Dutch translations would be welcome as well.. I will as soon as possible supply files for translation via gitorious (wll notify via this thread when it is available).

That sounds very strange, as no changes have been made to the application or library that should impact login (over wifi). I will need to look into the problem. If you run the app from the x-terminal (by typing qspot), does it show any particular error message? And do someone else experience the same problem with login over wifi?

The translation files (for Finnish and Dutch) are now available from http://gitorious.org/qspot/qspot/tre...r/translations. The files are in Qt Linguist format, i.e. should be opened with the Qt Linguist application that normally is part of the Qt SDK, but it can apparently be downloaded standalone from e.g., http://code.google.com/p/qtlinguistdownload/ (versions for Windows and Mac OSX).

I downloaded a new version yesterday and now my playlists won't load. I can still search and listen to music. I'm not even getting a "loading playlist timeout" msg. Any thoughts what this could be?

Hi Qspot team,

I am very happy with you great development of your Spotify
player for the N900. The basterds at Spotify refuse to
do anything.. so thanks a bunch!

However I cannot acces my playlists offline, even with a premium
account. Is this a Spotify problem or will there be a fix?

In any case, thanks for your efforts, it is highly appreciated!!

Do you still experience this problem, or was it possible a temporarily one? The playlist loading timeout message should be displayed in any case after the assigned timeout time (default 30 secs in case you have not changed it). What is the xterminal output when the problem occurs?

Thank you very much for your feedback, happy to hear that you like QSpot! QSpot does not support offline playlists, due to potential copyright problems etc. I.e., such functionality can only be provided by the official Spotify mobile clients, unfortunately (even though implementation of such functionality would be technically possible). Hopefully it will be possible at some point to move to the official spotify library, as that will give additional possibilities (such as track caching for more reliable playback over slower connections, possibility to create / edit playlists, support for playlist folders, playback of local music etc..
