Discover it yourself, there are many hints in this thread

In other related notes, the diablo+1 possibly will be called elephanta, no?
the diablo+2 could be called fremantle?? Or what is fremantle in the maemo world? I have seen it in some svn commits in maemo svn.

I'm not aware it's been confirmed (whether it'll even exist, or its name if it did). Suffice to say, it'll almost certainly be wind-based.

It looked like the latest update killed my N810 as well. It would just sit at the initial boot screen and do nothing. The scary part was that I could not get it into USB mode to reflash.

After leaving it at the boot screen for a few minutes (maybe 5 or so) it suddenly completed booting. Now there are periodic slow down (one minute to complete "sudo gainroot") but things seem to be working again.

I had left my tablet in "no-lifeguard-reset" mode since flashing, if that is relevant.

Remember the initfs doesn't work; it's too big? If this wants to update the initfs, better do it manually. I'm gonna try telling it I have the new version of that, and updating, maybe...

Later today, I'll post results.

I just updated my N800 to 20.4 with SSU and had no issues...

(But again... my system was originally clean Diablo flash... not hacked frankenstein that most of you guys are using... )

Me too. no issues have appeared yet. I wish I did it via apt-get so I could have seen what changed though. :/

Well I upgraded and it stuck at the boot screen, I flashed the rotation kernel on to it and it booted fine and said "software updated OK".
There's a mention of this on this thread before.

Phew! Luck escape...this time ;-)

And the rotation is a neat feature, seems to work fine on diablo too!
