I installed APM a couple of days ago on my N900, so far there have not been any ill-effects.

Unfortunatelly, there is no info about battery temperature available or I missed it.

Bringing functionality from OS2008 to Maemo5 version is next step, the main thing to consider is representation of info, getting it is already done.

This may have been asked before, but not going to read 56 pages.

Is it possible to get pybattery to show voltage instead of capacity?

With Mugen 2400 mAh battery, the charge-levels are always wrong, but the voltage meter works (for example with BatteryGraph).
It would be usefull, if pybattery would show 100% and "4.2V", and linearly 0% at "3.6V".

So the pybattery optionally would show Battery chargelevel as:
(VOLTAGE - 3.6V) / (4.2V - 3.6V) * 100%
[Maybe min level 3.6 could be configurable.]

I'll take a look, what could be done.

Is there any way to remove the bg from the status menu item?

Currently it looks like a button but pressing it does nothing but exit the status menu (gracefully).

It would be great if it could have the same bg (ie no bg) same as the standard one (especially seeing as it's next to the volume control which doesn't have this button appearance).

Cheers

Settings are not in the main tree, so, as soon as it will be stable enough, button will lead you to Settings dialog.
