New code without using WART:
Install yowsup2
pip install yowsup2
yowsup-cli registration --mcc <mobile country code> --mnc <mobile network code> --phone <phone number including the country code, but without a + or 00> --cc <country code> -r sms
You should receive a code per SMS on your phone.
yowsup-cli registration --mcc <mobile country code> --mnc <mobile network code> --phone <phone number including the country code, but without a + or 00> --cc <country code> -R <the code you got>
You should get a new password (and some more informations on your PC)
Then change the config file /home/user/.config/cepiperez/whatsup.conf with the new password.
Enjoy !
Ps. I tested this method with Ubuntu 14.04.
