my opinion , make first wazapp 100% good , startup quickly , smooth touch etc etc , and make to the last the logo when everything is perfect , wazapp is great , and looks very very very good , but it's not perfect yet

Cepi , when i answer a call or i make a call , sometimes shutdown wazapp ( in the last version from you ) 2012104 , also the .deb before....
can you fix it....or is it not possible

Skype is integrated with the OS, and so are other IM services. Wazapp is a standalone app. So when you receive a message, you'll know if it's in Wazapp or somewhere else.
Besides, it doesn't look out of place, it fits there just fine. The main idea is that this isn't an official app and we don't HAVE to stick to any strict rules. We can be unique, while still maintaining the default look and feel.
EDIT: No offense to The Best Isaac, your work is good too, but I after I've seen the Meego style, I'm loving it more. The green one Standby screen should remain though!

Version 1.0 will have default Harmattan style notification icons in status bar, but they will be green for Wazapp as shown in screenshot.
If you don't like it, you can replace them with whatever you want.
Could something like this be wiki-worthy? That way it'd be easy to find the instructions later on.

1. open filebox as root
2. Make sure your icon file is renamed as "icon-s-status-notifier-wazapp.png"
3. copy your custom icons into the folder /usr/share/themes/blanco/meegotouch/icons
^ this will replace the existing one, so just in case you wanna go back, make a backup.

Put them all in one place and vote about it. TGalal has the last word anyways.
Seriously, about splashscreens, do make some suggestions, for both orientations. As much as we all like the plain black default one with refresh-arrows - that's just boring and so PR1.0 :P
Let your imagination go, some cool stuff can be done. Here's a small hint: take a look at Apps For MeeGo application splashcreen.
Awesome usage of transparency...
