and Hmm.. I am using "mypaint 0.8.2-2maemo0" package and I have modified MyPaint a bit.
1.) I have disabled feature:
"Bruslist is inside hildon. PannableArea (instead of gtk.Scrolling)"
because it is atrocious SLOW method to select brushes.
2.) I have OC'd to1.15GHz but you should be able to work with canvas size of 1664 x 960 pixels
(zoomed out x2) well with 600MHz stock clock.
There is lag if you are using certain brushes..
especially those which uses "smudge", "elliptical dab: ratio" heavy settings.
3.) I suggest you to experiment different brushes and learn to make your own.
4.) When I want to remove UNDO history I save my work to PNG file and
then I load it back to MyPaint -> Speedy again.
(MyPaint becomes slower and slower when you do lot of drawing strokes,
because it saves those paths to .ora -file, or something?)
