Pal, if you want someone to help you, please post here EVERYTHING, not only the top line. In "problems" tab that is.

For completeness sake, this is what the first post says:

if I knew I ran a risk but, well there is a parable or saying that goes: nothing ventured, nothing gained so luckily had a backup, did a reflash and a long night, but hey I have returned freemangordon. ......... thanks for your help. and now start again but all data will be a matter of a week, so if I tell you already install the kernel thumb14 commnityssu 10cssu3, ie I have the latest update and I did for the link of this topic principle, and I have installed the kp51r1, the question need to install or not. besides the kernel boot-image ssu can not be installed because it appears as conflict, reported for the case you want to install nitdroid kernel? that should do? the phone is pretty good and smooth. freemangordon last direct question? I recommend installing the speedpatch or do you think is crap and takes effect in na N900 thanks to everyone and I hope to comment on something good to share and help. from the best smartphone in the world I say goodbye good morning ........................................ .

Status so far:

N900 is:
More responsive and faster in some parts
Swap is greatly reduced, using less then 75MB

But, some of my encoded video's really need abit more speed since they are encoded pretty heavily and i am sorry to ask again but have anybody been able to overclock successful using thumb

when i get the time i will flash my other N900 and put every program and IM and such on it like this and compare memory.

@dudubaryosaf - do not install speedpatch or batterypatch. Just enable SmartReflex in /etc/pmconfig if you want better battery life. Search the forum for other ways to do it.

@dr_frost_dk - yep, just download KPS .deb from repos and install it with dpkg , using --force-depends .

I just installed kp-settings from the repo's without force installing it, I believe. I believe since v16 of kp-settings dependencies were fixed

Just tried, KPS is still v14. I believe you installed that. The bad thing is that it flashes KP50, which does not have thumb errata workaround.

Code:
apt-cache policy kernel-power-settings
kernel-power-settings:
  Installed: 0.16
  Candidate: 0.16
  Version table:
 *** 0.16 0
        500 http://repository.maemo.org fremantle/free Packages
        500 http://repository.maemo.org fremantle/free Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
     0.14 0
        500 http://repository.maemo.org fremantle-1.3/free Packages

     0.3 0
        500 http://repository.maemo.org fremantle-1.3/free Packages

And as you can see here, you can find v16 in testing and devel:
