Also got my hands on a new, never used battery as well.

If you have just Nitdroid and no Nemo on your device it is easy to reclaim the space used by Nitdroid after you boot to normal Harmattan; just remove the directory containing the Android subsytem and that's it.
If you hsve also Nemo/Sailfish/Ubunti/Firefox/whatever it is a bit more difficult since that means your device has been repartitioned accordingly.
That's doable too, but requires a bit more expertise.
I am trying to do this after so much time. Now I am currently recovering the phone battery with flasher.
Could you confirm that, to restore Meego only and the original kernel the command is

This command will let the battery charge and flash the kernel only when reached 11%.

I see HW failure instead of RPL file damage setting in /dev/mtd1.. :hopeless
