Clearly great work by the developers but the big question is if it is so simple to get full sat nav working on the N900 then why the hell didn't Nokia themselves do it when we were all asking for it last year?

Was it to try and ennsure there was a number of disguntled users and so the phone would not be a sales success? As I can't think of any other reason!

I second. There are a lot of questions regarding the N900 that I always wonder why the hell did Nokia not do this?!! i.e, where is the MMS on the N900??

Gee, thanks a lot guys. Here I'd been using my N900 all last week, but I leave for a long weekend trip on Friday so I fired up the Galaxy-S again, figuring I'd have to fight Samsung's crappy GPS all weekend, but at least I'd have turn by turn. Now you've gone and made the Galaxy-S totally useless!

you should try a reindex by running "tracker-processes -r" in X Terminal, then starting Media Player.

or

just open Media Player, hit power button and select End Curent Task. I experienced the same issue and got it with the first one.

please provide feedback if it works to you, too.

I believe that the easiest way to 'uninstall' is to put the index.html back that was renamed in the instructions. You can then delete the navigation_sounds folder.
