It seems likely that it will, though I'm not in a position to know. Nokia could always switch endianness just for fun.

T'would be easier if you could arrange a summer release. Northern hemisphere, please, in case you have ideas of being slippery that way. Those upside down people can fend for themselves.

CPU transition really wasn't the issue, the API breaks were.

there's still plenty of life in the n800/810 architecture... IF nokia actually used the video chips effectively (with proper drivers), and the memory bandwidth to the video display were fixed.

however, I'm all in favour of the wimax model as a step forward. I was always a bit suspicious of the claim of lack of room in the n810 which prevented dual full-sized SD slots, wondering whether there was reserved space for something else.

sadly, as someone previously pointed out, wimax is a distant dream in the UK, with only very small local trials.

If I even hint at anything else you'll have to arrange my release.

Excuse the rookie question, but wimax access is nearly always a paid service, and rare to find correct?

I can't be arsed to dig up the posts, and I'm sure my own personal bias played a roll my interpretation of them but, uh . . . hrm—texrat hasn't said anything! He's innocent! I swear it!

*cough* Texrat who? And, uhh...boy, the web people who let that updated page go live early, they must be in some trouble, huh? Yes, let's all focus our attention on their blunder.
