So now #1 does work for you?

At least your TJC posting is exactly #1, hence I wonder what caused the different outcome. Or are you guiding users to brick their devices?

btrfs image (and ext4 image) works for me, as I wrote before. I have problems only with lvm image. Original jolla phone has btrfs image, so there are no problems

Just tried to flash 3.2.1.19 on my Jolla C.

boot, aboot and recovery worked quite fine.
Code:
sudo fastboot flash boot hybris-boot.img
Sending 'boot' (11502 KB) OKAY [ 0.400s]
Writing 'boot' OKAY [ 0.538s]
Finished. Total time: 0.940s

sudo fastboot flash aboot emmc_appsboot.mbn
Sending 'aboot' (715 KB) OKAY [ 0.027s]
Writing 'aboot' OKAY [ 0.087s]
Finished. Total time: 0.116s

sudo fastboot flash recovery hybris-recovery.img
Sending 'recovery' (12878 KB) OKAY [ 0.409s]
Writing 'recovery' OKAY [ 1.613s]
Finished. Total time: 2.023s
Flashing the sailfish image brought up this:
Code:
sudo fastboot flash sailfish sailfish.img001
Sending sparse 'sailfish' 1/5 (259432 KB) OKAY [ 8.168s]
Writing sparse 'sailfish' 1/5 FAILED (remote: 'partition table doesn't exist')
Finished. Total time: 8.183s
Anything I missed?

Awesome work @sailfishlover - thank you! Saved my phone after bricked btrfs system.

Reflashing your sbj-btrfs image of version 3.3 worked without any hassle, but not able to get the ext4 or lvm images up and running. Stuck in a boot loop. Must something prepared through rescue shell in advance (e.g. repartitioning, etc.)?
