Good to set the bar low for start. Dont have any online storage so this is 50 percent from the original size. Had some nice sunny pictures but liked this the most. And not wanting to miss this match. Does this end the last day of feb? So I can change this pic on the last second?

Edit: Bar low enough? How do I get this picture turned? It was ok before posting.

There are two ways of rotating a picture. Transposing each pixel so that they are saved in the target order or just setting a flag in the header to let the displaying software know that it should rotate the picture to display it. Most cameras do the second one. Unfortunately, TMO's picture uploaded does not understand that flag and you end up with pictures turned sideways like yours. The only way to fix it is to rotate it in some picture editing software before uploading. Been there, done that.

You might try imgur.com (assuming it's available in your time zone). No login required. And I think the sailimgur app still works. Like pichlo said, tmo doesn't respect the rotate tag for jpg's.

And of course you can update the pic in your post with a higher res, properly rotated version -- we're not monsters here. We just really enjoy seeing what our fellow members are shooting with their phone cameras, or camera-phones, or whatever. Voting usually begins a few days before the end of the month, so don't wait too long!

And now I see that you took this photo with Bliss on an N900 and I have no idea if there's an imgur app, so I just went ahead and rotated it in gimp to prevent neck injuries. (Because I only recently learned about the "hold down the rotation with a finger" trick in sailfish).

No idea how this type of weather is called, but it is warm enough for the goose to travel north-eastish.
Perfect north would be the left edge of the picture. They are going to finland if they keep that direction.

Picture taken while influenced by Darnleys Navy Strength Gin with XA2 h4113 at 20.3Mpix. Manually adjusted levels and reduced to 90% jpeg in gimp.

This is "Great Weather" from Sweden in february. Picture is taken in my backyard with Xperia X stock photo app. No editing.
The flower is "Snowdrop", First sign of spring on these latitudes.

Edit:
I have no idea how to rotate picture on this board.
Edit 2:
Think I fixed it
Edit 3:
Well... miniature rotation is still f.....d up, but you got the full picture.

Do it in gimp. The infamous rotate tag has no power here
Also the size is chunked down to a bare minimum when attaching images and juiceme & pichlo like it big to seriously judge.

My offer still stands to host every image you all send me to photocomp[]mosushi[]de and i will upload to https://mosushi.de/misc/photocomp/<yourimagename.jpg> for you to simply link in your post.

Please leave me out of this It is really juiceme only; I myself have been reprimanded for my pictures being "too small".

2. pichlo - Jolla Phone

3. Fellfrosch - (used hugin to blend two pics from my XperiaX)

4. Juiceme - N900, slight levels & unsharp mask in Gimp

5. Amboss - Resize done on PC, no other "optimization". Picture taken with Sailfish on X

6. spag - Sony Xperia X v3.0.1.11, Gimp (to resize)

7. Maemish - Bliss on an N900

8. mosen - XA2 h4113 at 20.3Mpix. Manually adjusted levels and reduced to 90% jpeg in gimp

Are 2 day enough so we can close votes on 29th roughly same time?

My vote goes to robthebold for good timing and nice idea!
