Super-cool port. When I'm not using the n800, I plan on running a test: put xournal in backgroundedand test battery life. I suspect it's not optimized. But I could be just wrong.

So thanks for the port, and thanks to the devs for a fine app.

Any luck figuring out what is causing this yet? I have both libgnomecanvas and libart installed.

I do have the clue. It's a warning related to the arrow next to the colored one. The arrow that lets you choose the color of the line.
The arrow and the squared colored icon are ONE widget (even tho it's not working fine, but it's a GTK problem ).
That warning appears when Xournal is not in fullscreen mode.
I am not really sure about what is causing it (it doesn't appear if I remove the widget), but probably is something wrong with that widget.

Anyway you can simply ignore it.
I am trying to find out an alternative way of choosing colors... we'll see.
Any idea anyone ?

I would love to ignore it, but unfortunately Xournal will not run for me, and that is the only feedback given when ran from the terminal.

if it does not run, then that's not the cause.
When you installed it, did it give you any issues ?

Nope, no issues, installed just fine. I've tried reinstalling several times. Is there an rc file or anything I can nuke to see if that might be the problem? I installed it when it first came out and it did this so I just removed it. Heard that the crashing problems were finally fixed and went to try again, still no dice =/

After you've ran it from the Terminal what else does it say other than that warning ? if it does even say something else!

Or just that and remains running ?
Does it quit you back to the prompt ?
Where's the binary located on your tablet ?

That's all it says and it drops me right back to a prompt. xournal is located at /usr/bin/xournal

Thanks!
