I guess that startctaft engine port wouldn't just magically compile on the IT huh?

No but I think porting over with the SDK woudn't be a problem for the devs.

stratagus (the engine stargus uses) has a build for Debian armel. That should mean it's not too hard to compile in scratchbox. However, stargus doesn't look playable yet...

Yes: http://sourceforge.net/projects/palmdosbox, but that's more Garnet VM, which is actually ARM.

The first OS2008 did, but there's a good reason why not - it shows your passwords in plain text...

try out minefield. With Windows 95 you get IE 5.5 as max. With 98 you get IE 6. Or try out Basilisk with OS 7.5.3 and some IE, works way faster and you get your feeling.

hmm I don't want to think about the speed of a shockwave application in a Emulator on a ARM-based computer. I mean Win95 is slow and deprecated, just as 98 and every Webpage which uses proprietary crap like ActiveX or Shockwave isn't worth visiting. I'm surfing around with Safari and on the Tablet I have the same experience.

So the only reason legit for Windows on a Tablet would be a compiled program which runs solely on Windows and doesn't use much ressources.

That's just my opinion.

EDIT: And of course for Hacker's sake, it's just cool to get something like this working.

A Windows Emulator would be nice if WORD, and POWERPOINT docs could be utilized. They are the only things missing for me on the tablet.
