Here is the catch, is to find the "mms://", the streaming site address. Most of the time it is NOT obvious for an obvious reason. Yes. Once one knows the address, you can just type it in. For example, a few post back, the Kiss TV - mms://......... is what you need to find out for the channel you want to watch. And dont forget, you also have the video center as discuss on thread #1.

I think an external battery pack is what I need now. I did purchased an airplane adapter. However, economy class, what I travel mostly, does NOT have any electrical outlet. I am waiting for my "AA" battery pack for the N810.

What player can I use on a desktop to view this ? Tried mplayer but it didnt play it.

Just click the playlist with media player, and wait, you should be able to see some channels. Change channel by clicking the fast forward. You have already changed the .m3u.txt file to .m3u file, right? Or even more better, use kmplayer, and open the playlist, it allows one to random access and choose the description of the channel.

mplayer should also play too, not as smooth though.

Look into Menu>Extras, you would find media player. 770 does not have the codecs to play them.

Sorry if I missed a key post in these pages, but I thought it was amusing to see all that discussion of how to remove the .txt from a file. I know how, but I didn't bother to do it, and kmplayer worked fine anyway.

You are correct! Kmplayer apparantly doing just fine with the .m3u.txt file. If you are using media player and the desktop gui, you then need to remove the .txt. Or you can use media player in the xterm and point to the .m3u.txt file. Thanks Geneven for a big tip.

Oh one more question for Geneven, you know any trick to control the kmplayer while it is in full screen mode? Even the vol button worked strange, not to mention change channel. TIA,
