Personal Menu has been updated to version 0.7-2. This new version is available in the maemo-extras repository. Check the first post for the update details.

Bundyo: What error does it give? Does it install from command line with dpkg? Any errors there?

fiferboy, this is a great app. Since you bold the "categories" in the control panel, any chance of doing that in the menu? Also, I like being able to select the font color, but would it be possible to select the background color as well?

Just a couple of quick thoughts on a really great program. Thx.

frasej,

If you are using the "system font" options in the settings tab, headings should be bold by default. You can override the font settings for both regular entries (non-headings) and headings separately. Simply select a bold font for your heading font, and a non-bold font for your regular font.

Selectable background colour is probably doable. My original intent was to keep to the theme colours, but I decided some flexibility with fonts was a good idea to differentiate heading and regular entries. If people want customizable background, I am willing to put it in

Thanks for the update to this truly outstanding utility! I did see the 0.7-2 update advertised in Application Manager Updates for today but when I tried to install from that point, I got the error "Unable to install. Software contains updates to packages installed from a different source and is likely to harm the system. Contact software author." Next, I tried to install from your "One click install" link on page 1 of this thread, but got the same error. Finally, I went to the garage page and downloaded the 0.7-2_armel.deb file and the install was completed without errors. Just thought I would note this in case others have a problem.

jweniel, it is probably easiest to uninstall the version you have and then install from the repository. This way you can just upgrade through the application manager next time an update is released. You won't loose any configuration data doing it this way.
