Ah, that's good news. What other devices does it have hidden away?

I'd reboot the N8x0, then plug in the device, then save the dmesg output and post it so we can take a look at it.

E.g.

dmesg > /media/mmc1/dmesg_output.txt

Also lsusb should work on the device.

The source can just be patched to add another combination, and if it's just for your use (editing with a hexeditor) don't worry which one you use as long as it works for you.
